Did you know you could build your own hydroponic system for less than $100?

I convinced my dad that hydroponics and vertical farming were “the future.”    We’d just started farming about an acre of hops in rural Maryland and one of his partners is looking to build a greenhouse.  He has a lot of extra compost and was fascinated by the idea of making compost tea.  All of this came together and he just did it.  No problem.

Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from a street performer I looked up to:
“It is better to go out and do something than to stay home and plan something.”
